Songs for Life connects professional musicians with hospice patients, offerin the healing power of music to patients and their communities as they approach the threshold of death. Musicians visit ongoingly, getting to know the patient, deeply connecting to their stories, and playing the songs that they love. In addition to offering music and companionship, musicians often write original songs, instrumental or with lyrics, inspired by and in honor of the life of the patient.
